NO FEES WILL BE CHARGED FOR FOOD, CHILD CARE, OR THE YOUTH SYMPOSIUM!

Registration closes on 7 March 2010.    

WHEN REGISTERING CHOOSE ATTENDEE AS YOUR TICKET TYPE, AND CHOOSE 1 TICKET FOR EACH ADULT ATTENDEE. A MARRIED COUPLE WILL SELECT 2 TICKETS BUT REGISTER TOGETHER ON ONE ORDER. EACH ADULT ATTENDEE ATTENDING BREAKOUT SESSIONS WILL SELECT THEIR OWN BREAKOUTS UNDER THEIR OWN TICKET. 
WHEN REGISTERING YOUR CHILD(REN), REGISTER THEM UNDER THE APPROPRIATE AGE GROUP(S). IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 1 CHILD IN AN AGE GROUP, YOU WILL NEED TO SELECT THE NUMBER OF TICKETS NEEDED FOR THE NUMBER OF CHILDREN IN THAT GROUP.

The 2010 National Guard Family Program Conference and Youth Symposium will be held 9-11 April 2010 at the Patriot Center in Wausau, WI.  The purpose of the conference is to familiarize attendees with the State Family Program and improve personal and family preparedness as well as enhance the readiness of the Wisconsin National Guard.   The conference is open to WI state leadership, family program points of contact, and family program volunteers.  At the Youth Symposium, youth will be divided into appropriate age groups and will work on developing skills to build relationships, social networking, and managing stress.    

Childcare will be provided for children from age 0 to 5.  

Family volunteers will receive invitational orders that will cover per diem and travel expenses.    All lodging will be paid by the State Family Program Office.  All volunteers who attend the conference must submit a signed Volunteer Agreement, DD Form 2793, with the registration form, request for orders, direct deposit forms, youth registration form, breakout session request form. 

The DD Form 2793 has been pre-filled and can be found in the downloadable forms.    Volunteers attending with a military member on orders will not be paid transportation costs.   For more information, please read the conference memorandum.
